Set of 914/6 stub axles and 911SC hubs. This combination provides 5 lug hubs for 914/6 or 6 conversions with hub-centering (HUB CENTRIC). The 901 hubs are not hub centric. You will need a set of 5MM spacers to make these fit a 914 trailing arm correctly. The spacers are available through Patrick Motorsports. See link and picture below.
https://patrickmotorsports.com/products/dri...7b3a2&_ss=r $350.00 for the set, shipped in the conus (not including PMS spacers). No on-line (PayPal, etc.) payments. Check or cashier's check please. Attached image(s) |

Curious...
Does this move the hub flange out 5mm from the trailing arm? Does that eliminate the need to use a 5mm spacer under a 911 brake rotor, or 5mm washer between the brake caliper and hub? |

Hi Dug, No, the spacer adds the required depth to the hub as the SC hub length. The face to end of the SC hub is different than the 901 hub. The SC hub is 5 MM shorter in depth. Adding the spacer makes the depth the same as the 901 hub. |

Does it require different CVs than stock /4 CVs?

So the spacer sits inside the bearing between the stub axle and hub?

914-6 CVs are the same outer dimensions and bolt pattern as 914-4 CVs, but have a different spline count.
So 914-4 CVs/axles will bolt up to a 914-6, the transmission output flanges are the same, which is why you can just bolt in a 914 side-shift trans in a 914-6 too, aside from modifying the linkage. |

So the spacer sits inside the bearing between the stub axle and hub? No. The spacer slides onto the hub, then the bearing. Later 911 hubs use a wider bearing but that bearing also has a larger diameter that is too big for a 914 trailing arm. The spacer duplicates the width of the later bearing, while allowing you to use the proper (stock914/early 911) wheel bearing The later 911 hub is hub centric so it’s a desirable upgrade. The 5mm spacer makes it work perfectly. |
