I've played around with cheap off-the-shelf LED headlight bulbs and found one that works. Kinda. Right now the low beams will not come on unless I have the fog lights on. Any ideas what that would be? 74 2.0.

More details? Did you touch any of the wiring at the light switch? Did you replace the stock flasher relay with an LED compatible relay?

Also, see if the condition changes as you scroll the brightness left to right at the light switch knob. I kind of have this issue.. where I'm only getting fogs when the light switch knob is all the way to the right (and it's a little sensitive at that).

The bulbs probably don't draw enough current.

Here is the simple solution: https://vintagecarleds.com/shop/7-inch/vc50...ate-7-inch-kit/

I have the flat lens Hella LED kit in my car and they are terrific. No issues at all, they just work. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)

You might need to do this simple wiring mod for the LED headlights/flasher issue.

Jeff, are you talking about Spoke's suggestion to cut the blue/white fog wire and ground it, bypassing the relay? I like that idea.
