So, I'm not sure if this is obvious, but I'm in Kona most of the time now. If anybody comes to this side of the Big Island, drop me a line! I'll buy you a coffee (or other beverage) and we can BS about 914s!

I am planning on bringing my class there in May, I will let you know if I do and definitely take you up on some Kona coffee. And maybe some Mac nuts. I actually might need your help... I can't imagine uncle Billy's is still in business and that was my go to place.

Uncle Billy's has been closed for remodeling for quite a few years now. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

We used to stay there all the time, it was right in downtown and it was cheap! We didn't care if it wasn't very ... luxurious--we figured we weren't coming to the island to see the inside of a hotel room anyway!

Drive onto a Ro-Ro ship. Camp in your car for 2 weeks. (Or longer, depending on seas and routes.)
