  Get your flat 4 ass to this year's Watkins Glen FREE Grand Prix Festival, where PORSCHE IS THE FEATURED MARQUE! Join hundreds of historic Porsches in the beautiful setting of Watkins Glen, the birthplace of road racing in America. The street festival is Friday, September 5th, with SVRA racing at Watkins Glen International Thursday-Sunday (tickest available online or on location for the racing at WGI). If you've not been, the Watkins Glen Grand Prix Festival should be on you P-car bucket list, especially when Porsche is the featured marque, and it's FREE! As you may know, Brian Redman's Double 50 event in 1998 (celebrating 50 years of road racing in Watkins Glen and 50 years of Porsche) was the genesis for today's Rennsport Reunions. Watkins Glen will be crawling with hundreds of Porsches this year, so don't miss it!!! A bunch of us from World are meeting up at the event for a 914 gathering and tour. The Canucks are invading. Good old reliable #5 will be there! Me and my son-in-law Jamie are camping at the KOA. Looking forward to the street party and tilting a glass at Seneca Lodge.

So excited to get back to the Glen. The Double Fifty in 1998 was spectacular! Getting up close to the Brumos 914-6 GT was especially cool.

 Hey everyone, just 1 week away from Brian Redman's Speed Tour at Watkins Glen September 4-7. Porsche is the featured marque Friday September 5th at the Grand Prix Festival in town when race cars will tear up the old road race circuit to reenact the historic beginning of road racing in America! This is your chance to meet Brian Redman and participate with hundreds of Porsches. As you might know, it was Brian Redman's Double Fifty gathering at Watkins Glen (celebraating 50 years of Porsche and 50 years of road racing in America at Watkins Glen) that became the genesis of today's Rennsport Reunions. It's great to have Brian back and be able to celebrate Porsche again. Please share this post and plan to be at the festival in town on Friday for the FREE festival. Those wanting to take in the race weekend at Watkins Glen International can buy tickets online or on location. We have a bunch of 914s meeting up.
