Like many other 914 owners, my car desperately needs a new dash. There's one on eBay that ships from Turkey and the auction even includes a pair of sun visors for under $500 with shipping. Before I commit to one of these, I'm hoping for some feedback from someone that's tried this one.

Thanks guys, thank you Mark, I will certainly consider that. I'm going out of town for a few days and will try to make a decision next week.
Meanwhile, I can't help but wonder how many companies out there would tool up to produce a dash for such a small market? I think 914Rubber was first, then AA started offering a dash, now these guys on eBay. Are they all coming from the same place I wonder? |

I just bought an electronic ignition for my motorcycle from a seller in the Netherlands. The cost was $360 and I got hit with a $120 tariff. Just keep that in mind if you buy from out of the US and are price conscious. It's surprising a lot of people. UPS wouldn't deliver until I paid online, including their $15 transaction fee.

A quick search says 10-15% for Turkey with one of the exceptions being automobile parts charged at 25%. But that's just my read on it. I could be completely wrong.

Let me know. mark Didn't 914 Rubber have a couple of versions ?? one was all rubber ? I believe this is the newer version but I’ll check. I did have an older version but sold it to a shop in NJ that used it on a gold GT build. Didn’t look totally stock but still looked good. |

I bought a set of sun visors from the Turkey people.
Easy transaction, nice product and price. No issue with shipping, but that was before 2025… I have a rubber version of 914Rubber dash what they call “Seconds” with a couple of ~1/32” air bubbles. Both products have not yet been installed so can’t comment more. |

There was a guy on our Pelican forums asking about a 911 dash from what I assume is the same vendor in Turkey. Here's what he said;
"The one from Turkey is what you would expect. It doesn’t look correct next to a factory dash but mine fit and is solid feeling. Vinyl is lower grade and not flexible, the grain was very fine/almost smooth. It’s made of very dense foam core" Meanwhile, I'm still debating what to do... |

I recently bought a new 911 dash off of eBay that shipped from Turkey. I’m pleased with transaction. It’s not an oem equivalent dash, but looks much better than the old and cracked original dash.

Is there one that works with the early style glovebox yet? That is the real question!

Is there one that works with the early style glovebox yet? That is the real question! Not that I know of. I have 2 really nice ones that are set aside for my builds. Definitely not for sale. I pulled them off of very low mileage parts cars. I’m surprised that nobody makes one that is right for a six. Lower volume but you could charge more. Just tweak the mold a bit. |

I pulled the trigger on the Turkey dash but bought it on Etsy. I'll post a report and pics once I have it installed.

Finally, here's my update. I bought the dash from Turkey on Etsy. It was a little over $400 shipped, then I got a Tariff bill from FedEx for another $82. I inquired about a Tariff with the seller prior to purchase and he said they would refund the Tariff. It took a little prodding, but they finally did.
Overall, considering the car and the "get what you pay for" aspect of it, I'm satisfied. The texture is a little off and there are some lines/seams in it but they aren't all that visible once installed. I've seen and heard about some other 914 repro dashes and thought I'd take a chance on this one. This dash installed nicely and seems like it will hold up for a few years at least, based on how it appears to be constructed (I hope!). I have some pics of the installed dash but they aren't good. The sun was in a bad spot when I took them. I'll take more later. Meanwhile, here are a few before install. |
