Any recommendations for mechanics that still enjoy and are experienced with working on 914s in the Austin, Tx area?

Not Austin but Uber-Werks in San Antonio. Thomas Otten. I have known him for years.

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/idea.gif) Nice, I've never heard of them before. Thanks for the info, Mark. I agree, Austin isn't a great place to have work done on type IV engines or 914s in general. You've got to go to SA or DFW area.
