I had seen this car in Newport Beach and at the German Autofest; a recent thread mentioned the owner passed.
I want to copy the graphic that’s on the front hood; I can’t see the text in my pic.
Hoping someone else has a better pic or knows what it says

What are you planning to do with it? Would it be weird to put someone else’s coat of arms/family crest on your car??? I guess that’s no different then copying a branded race livery…

I was looking to use a modified design on my front hood cover. Only used in the garage. I had no idea it was related to family origins; I will use a different theme.

Just as nobody in Germany calls Germany Germany.

So my best guess is that this was done by an English speaking person, most likely American to represent their Swiss heritage.

Also, what i believed to be the city is likely the municipality "Guttet" in the southern part of Switzerland.

And i think the first letter of the name might be a K instead of an H.

So the full translation would be:
"Familie Kuonen von Guttet" = "Family Kuonen from Guttet"
