I picked up this running driving 1974 car earlier this year from another long time member. Solid for the most part and had rust repair done by black forest racing. Once I got it home the 1.7 dropped a valve and warranted a rebuild. I decided to do a conversion since I had already done one in the past and had a running 3.0 on a test stand. I started doing the 5 lug conversion (SC/Carrera front struts). It and the car are about 80% complete. PMB refurbished brake calipers all around. New rotors and pads. New brake lines the firewall back and New rubber lines up front. Stainless steel fuel lines installed and a brand new fuel pump. I welded the factory maddog 6 mount. Installed Ben's oil tank. I hit a snag once I installed the 3.0 engine. I wanted to keep the CIS. In order to do so the trunk wall was cut. After installing it was clear the trunk, nor the engine lid will close. I dont want to cut either so it's either put carbs or ITBs on or change the CIS to a later 3.2 which will be extensive. This is where the project stalled. I am offering it as a complete package with the running engine OR if you have a 6 with carbs or EFi and want to finish it I can sell just the roller plus trans.

I have done other little odds and ends that I can go into detail for the serious buyers. Happy to take a video or pics of anything while the car is on the lift. I can have it rolling in just a few days for anyone wanting to take immediately.

Price for everything to complete the project less carb/ITB induction - $21k
Just the roller complete for a drop in 6 including the oil lines to run a front cooler, pretty much drop in an engine that will fit - $7500
