I am having my 76 2.0 motor completely rebuilt, everything new except the block. Should I tell the shop to reinstall the Tangerine Racing oil pressure relief valve that was in the old motor?

Most blocks can benefit from the tangerine valve, think that is why he made it. It fixes the worn block and prevents sticking and leaking

What size oil pump are you running? Do you have any external oil cooling lines?

You may not need the increased pressure

How will she run without a relief valve? I have always used the stock setup, never had an issue
