I was going through a couple of boxes of toy sports and racing cars that I have collected over the years. My 14 year-old grandson is a big fan of my car and its antiquated technology (manual shift, roll up windows and no back-up camera (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) ). Of course there are 914s, and I thought I would put one under the Christmas tree. I am going to wrap up a 1:24 Solid model.

Interestingly enough, one of the ones I found was a new, in the box, 25th anniversary 914 edition by Gama. From what I found on the web, these were only sold at dealerships. I don't remember where I got this. Anybody out there have one?

What color is yours? I have seen several red ones and 1 green one. If its in the box open it up and check inside for the special pin. There is also a matching poster.

Yep, Bob, that is the one. Special box, too. If I ever had the special pin, I cannot remember. That was over 30 years ago. I have the framed poster, though. Maybe, someday, I will run across the pin in another box hidden in a closet or the garage. Thanks for that link reference. Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night!
