If this goes as expected the removal of the air flow box and replace with this adapter tube to the Throttle body rubber hoses/tubes....

I knew it! I am interested in your progress as I am toying with a similar idea to increase airflow into my 2056 w/ the gowesty throttle body.

I would like to know more about that flange you have there.

This pipe replaces the barn door flow box of the Ljet for a modern vacuum GM MAP sensor (typicaly used in replacement EFI systems) So the stock air filter box can be used. Once Im up and running with at the stock Throttle bodying base "Running" tune, Ill update to to large GoWesty and tune again as needed. What EFI are you going to use? Or for flow, open the bottom air inlet(snorkel) it will be the size of the old throttle plate too. Cold air source is best and piped as needed.

There are lots of threads on this cheap fix here on the 914 WORLD SEARCH

Best to start a build ahead so we can follow along
