A newbie question. Do the 72-on crashbar type doors have the indentations on the frame below the lock like the 70-71 doors.? My early doors are beyond saving so i might attempt to backdate some later doors.
Do later doors have these indentations.? Thanks in advance Dave  |

Might be hard to come by where you are but early '73 doors don't have the crash bars so they are much lighter but they do have the later style window lift mechanism with is much better than the early one.

I've got an extra passenger door I think is a 73, no indents, no bar, but has the late style window mountings.

Well the plot thickens. So on my 74-6 GT Tribute, the drivers door replace many ago after accident at Road America does have the indents, no bar and late window mounts. The passenger door I replace 6 years ago while restoration also has the indents, no bar but early window mounts....which I had to modify for the late windows. Best, Mark
