Might be hard to come by where you are but early '73 doors don't have the crash bars so they are much lighter but they do have the later style window lift mechanism with is much better than the early one.

ya I have l&R nos for mysix I've been told not worth $$$$ (IMG:style_emoticons/default/bs.gif)

Thanks for the reply Andy. Would still like to know if later doors have those indentations on the frame.? Anyone.?

I've got an extra passenger door I think is a 73, no indents, no bar, but has the late style window mountings.

Well the plot thickens. So on my 74-6 GT Tribute, the drivers door replace many ago after accident at Road America does have the indents, no bar and late window mounts. The passenger door I replace 6 years ago while restoration also has the indents, no bar but early window mounts....which I had to modify for the late windows. Best, Mark
