I got the tach from Eric, he had it rebuilt. So I am hunting for the correct color and finish to paint my speedometer needle. Does anyone have that information, there are so many colors from different sources. I watched videos but no one mentioned the products they used. Thanks

I'd contact the person who did the tach for paint. Try to get the matching paint for the speedo.
The tach needle appears to be a different shade than the red line so it might be incorrect anyway. Painting both the tach needle and the speedo needle with the same red would be my second option. Women can see 3+ times the red hues over men (genetic built in to check for vegetable ripeness maybe). Better to have the wife match reds if you're trying for a match. Saw this on a TV show "Brain game". The differences between my wife and I regarding the red hues was astonishing... |

It does seem a little bit more red than OEM. I Used Testors Enamel Paint .25oz, Orange Fluorescent from Amazon for about $8. You can see in the photo it looks a little off under LED lighting, but in daylight looks pretty good. If you use it, be sure to stir very well as it is a little watery if you just shake it
