I put my car back together recently. I think everything is as it should be. Yesterday I started it and it ran for like 10 seconds and then died. I wasn't able to give it gas cause I wasn't fully seated in the car.

Today when I got in the car the generator light was on.

I started it and it ran for like 30 seconds then died. The gas pedal seemed unresponsive. Now it will crank but makes no signs of sparking. I'm only getting 7.5 volts on the + side of the coil with the ignition on.

Address your low voltage at the coil issue. What is the battery voltage measured at the battery posts?

7.5volts with ignition on is way too low. When you crank the voltage at the coil will drop even lower and won’t spark with enough intensity.

What happens if my injectors are plugged in backwards? Does it matter which way the plug is inserted?

I had been fighting with my original injection harness. I decided to use a different harness that wasn't so brittle.

My coil voltage is up. It's cranking really well. It's not even sputtering though. I don't see any reason why it wouldn't be sparking. It has fuel pressure. I don't know which way the injector plugs are supposed to go. I guess I should just flip the plugs and see what happens.

I think they were plugged in backwards. I flipped them. It sputtered. It's coming back to life.

Doesn't matter which way. Something else is up.
