Working on installing 930 valve covers on a 6 conversion.
I need dimensions of the cut that needs to be made to make it work.
Picture would also help either posted or emailed.

If you sand off 5/16" from the fins, it fits.

Don't need to take off very much. Took these pictures AFTER I got them fitted, replaced covers with engine in the car.
first 2 are left side, next 2 right side.

Remove as little as possible to retain strength, I used a surface grinder with a Harbor Freight flapper disk . fit as you go with the engine in the car, actually goes pretty fast.Attached Image
