My new throttle cable seems to be to short. I adjusted it all the way out at the pedal still can’t get it to fit at the throttle body. Do i have the wrong one. Brand new.

Could it be wrapped around the clutch cable in the tunnel?

You didn’t say what year / engine. I’d check your routing. There isn’t any slack. Mine on my 72 is tight but just long enough.

We all know there is NO quality control on aftermarket parts. They never seem to be able to compare them to the original parts. NOT saying this is your problem but something to watch out for.
