Last week, @BeatNavy gave up his entire Friday to walk me through dropping my engine, inspecting my valve train, teaching me the art of a valve adjustment (i.e., show me what I was doing wrong), putting on new adjuster screws, and get my T4 motor purring again. I know our 914 community is full of kind and helpful humans, but Rob is as amazing as they come. I hope I can one day pay it forward to someone who needs help and my skill level allows me to be of value.

You can't tell in the last pic, but there was a lot of cursing, bloody knuckles, and a couple of angry wives wondering where their husbands were.

Thanks for the props guys. Just glad Kris and I were able to get it accomplished and resolved (hopefully). He's got lots of good driving weather coming up.

Turning 60 this year. Dropping and reinstalling an engine (and doing a couple of other things) all in one day is kind of a PITA now!
