Hi: I’m pulling my trailing arms off the 72 for Howard (71). I have the 911 e brake hats, at least I’m pretty sure I bought them after the fire. So I would like to use Tangerine racing’s e brake conversion kit. But I can’t afford it right now. I would like to get the bracket for the cable moved. I’ve looked everywhere I can think of for this info. Can someone please give me the measurement in the picture (A) so I can proceed. Thank you.

Just in case it isn't obvious to someone reading this thread, the diagram measurement for repositioing the bracket is 5 1/2" from the centerline of the trailing arm pivot. This is different than the question originally posed.

And to add one more point. The repositioned bracket in your photo looks like it's in the wrong place according to the diagram. It should be 5 1/2" from the tube end as well as 5 1/2" from the trailing arm center line. Possibly the photo is distorting distances, but it looks wrong.

Best wishes for a successful project.
