Unfortunately my situation has changed and I must sell my project 914/6. It is a fairly rust free, genuine Irish Green 914/6 with 914 vin. I believe it to have the original engine (640 case). The car sustained significant damage after an accident on the freeway in 1982 and has been off the road since. Aside from the obvious damage, the 914 has been in covered storage since the crash, has minimal rust, is fairly complete, and will power on and turn over with a good battery. I have a clean title for the car in my name, no DMV back fees. The car is currently on a set of Genuine 14” Fuchs wheels with Coker Michelin XWX tires, but I also have the American Racing 200s wheels which fit the widebody that I can include for additional cost. Purchase of the car will also include a donor 914 shell for chassis repair, as well as bumpers and other miscellaneous parts to assist with repair. Ben - this is tempting. I live in Morgan Hill, CA and I could just drag it home. Alas my wife would make me sleep in it. I could make a nice home under those rear flares. (Do you see my struggle here?) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)
Do you have photos of the car from back in the 80s? I'd love to see this back in its 'street freak' days. |
