I recently purchased chrome bumpers and am looking for the right size chrome or stainless steel carriage bolts(the smaller the better) to fit in the two rectangular front license plate holes. I want them to have a smooth finish. Perhaps someone has some, but a part number, vendor, or a link with both would be fine.
I am also curious if anyone has used elevator(flathead) bolts for this purpose. Thanks! James |

Looking at the stainless steel finish photos online, I'm now thinking to go with chrome, but McMasterCarr doesn't seem to have a chrome option. I could be wrong. |

I bought chrome carriage bolts in the plumbing department at the local hardware store - worked perfectly. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)
