So the coolant level warning pops up, and I go to check the tank level. No info to be found there. So on to the cap. Waited days, and it is cold. Turn the cap about 30 deg and the tab on the bottom rim hits a stop on the neck; and it is game over: it will not turn or come off. There has to be a trick, but I cannot figure it out.
Some Benz forums mention cutting off the tab or just using brute force, but I see potential disaster with those methods. If it was turned into place it should come off with a minimum of fuss.
