Is that a thing for a 74? I am replacing my turn signal switch, the one I am taking out has a single horn spring contact, upper only. The salvage one I have to put in has two horn spring contacts, upper and lower.
I can find pics of both online but no real description of early or late. |

They quit the two prong switch around 1972. Single is the only one available new.

Figured it was something like that. As long as that is the only difference, I will install it and maybe get one as a spare just in case.

Those two prong switches are OEM and will have a “Made in Germany” printed inside.

And those are much better than the aftermarket switches, if it’s still functional. I had a fantastically smooth switch until it developed a short inside, had to go new and hate it. |
