I've done this electric washer pump conversion 5 or so years ago on my brothers 74 914. Back then I was able to find the parts pretty fast but now I can't seam to come up with any kits available. Does anyone have a link or knows who's selling them now?
I tried to post a pic of the part but the site wouldn't let me. Here's a link to the PMB site : https://pmbperformance.com/products/turn-si...460d3&_ss=r Just looking for the switch part the the whole assembly. I'll also reach out to Eric. |

Hey Luke, I think you are referring to the carmagic kit?
Here is the link of their parts offering but unfortunately the 914 windshield washer link doesn't seem to work. Probably best to directly contact them. https://carmagic.us/parts.html The pump is the same as the 911 (928 number?) one and there are many vendors selling them at various prices, shop around and get the mounting bracket too. The bracket is held to the body via these rubber pin parts to isolate the pumps vibration. This is the way it is mounted on a 914-6. I got my pump and rubber pieces in 2024 from SMC for ~$25 and ~$5 ea (3). Then if you want to modify the tank to make it work like a 914-6. Restoration design sells a 3D-printed part to bond on top of the tank. https://www.restoration-design.com/store/pr...914.628.080.10P ![]() Good luck! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smash.gif) |

PMB will modify the switch, not sure if they sell the parts to go with it. Worth a look.
