The prices that T4s are going for is astronomical!

At 20K I'd be able to turbo a LS series engine and achieve 4 figure power numbers.

On a K24 at 20K I'd be 350hp NA OR 600+hp boosted.

I could buy a brand new LS3 crate puppy with the electronics (and a warranty!) for less than 20K. Might be able to include the Boxster 6 speed too.

And those setups would be conservative...

Just WOW on sticker shock!

Bet he'd throw in an alternator as well...

New wiring harness, good stuff, fully broken in and debugged.

That is what a RTG (ready to go) engine SHOULD be priced at.

Not to (IMG:style_emoticons/default/stromberg.gif) on anyone, but seeing that thermostat on there I immediately lost all faith in the knowledge of whoever put that together.... especially for 21k


For 21k you should have a running turnkey motor with ZERO red flags, some documentation on specs (that should be massively upgraded) and maybe dyno numbers.

I see a motor of completely unknown specs (other than stock pushrods) that has never fired, with a thermostat you should NEVER use on a type 4, non 2.0 heads, and an early style cooling fan that now requires balancing.

Maybe it is a 21k motor? but i dont see how you would ever sell one with a listing like this.
