Unfortunately I have run out of time to complete my 1970 914 GT V8 project and am gauging current interest. My intention was to do a LS1/Boxster 6 speed swap and I have all the parts to do so including Renegade Hybrid's radiator, LS1 engine cradle and motor mounts, Boxster transaxle mounting bracket, Kennedy Engineering LS1 to Boxster 6 speed adapter kit. I also have a number of other parts.

The car currently has a 350 SBC and 901 side shift transaxle. Currently not running and been has been garage kept. I removed the hard coolant lines but kept the radiator that was originally installed. Dash was converted to a late model dash. Early Bumpers. All rust repair was completed by the previous owner. Registered Non-Op. Pink slip in hand. No fees or anything strange. For the car as is I am asking $12K obo.

If interested in the LS1 swap parts we can have a more detailed conversation on what you want and associated prices. Thanks.

When was the last time it ran? Steel or fiberglass flares? What kind of suspension and brake parts are on it now?

Thanks

It was running last summer. The fenders are Fiberglass. It has the stock suspension and stock brakes with vented rotors.

I have Boxster calipers, new rotors, stainless steel brake lines and associated adapter kits. I also have complete 911 suspension parts including powder coated koni struts and coil overs. Basically all parts to rebuild both front and rear suspension and brakes.

Did you drive it much last summer when it was running? Did the transaxle shift without grinding, brakes function properly, etc.?

Yeah, I was driving it 2 to 3 times a week. Super fun. Transaxle shifted fine and brakes operated well.
